So, When we bought our marvelous Victorian home, we needed to use suffolk latches to make sure the home was keeping in demeanor with its roots. The home is more than 160 years old, so we were keen to research this a period of time and buy as plenty products as achievable around the house so it would look just ideal. When I looked around the cottage I saw there were lots of ways to make it appear like a Victorian home. I wandered about the people who built the house, the materials they used and the life they led.

There was also a garage attached, as well as a stable and a barn, so we purchased butterfly hinges to refit the exterior and interior doors. We chose imaginative black ironmongery products with a classic beeswax finish.It turned out that we were not the only ones that took this restoration work for real as a lot of our new neighbors dropped by to thank us for keeping the heritage of the village and property. I will always remain enthusiastic about saving the heritage and character of my marvelous new country cottage.
